Fees

• Initial Visit - $150 (includes initial consultation) - 120 minutes
• Return Visit - $85 - 75 minutes
• Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Initial Visit - $195 - 135 minutes
• Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Return Visit - $150 - 105 minutes

Before Your Treatment

Make sure you are neither hungry nor too full when you come to your appointment. If you have a morning appointment, make sure you eat breakfast. Please do not brush your tongue before treatment, as the tongue provides important diagnostic information. Also, refrain from using drugs or alcohol at least several hours before and after your treatment. After treatment, take some time to relax and return to your daily routine gradually. The acupuncture treatment continues to rebalance the body in the hours after treatment. To maximize the treatment effect, avoid vigorous exercise, hot tubs, over-eating, drugs, and alcohol of several hours after treatment.

Missed Appointment Policy

If you need to change or cancel your appointment please do so within 24 hours before the appointment time. Failure to do so will result in being charged the full fee for your appointment.

Insurance

Patients who wish to have their insurance cover all or a portion of their treatment should contact their insurance provider to learn about their coverage of Acupuncture. Aimee Wells Acupuncture is an in-network provider for several insurance plans and we are also willing to work with insurance companies that we are out of network with as well. We are in-network with the following insurance providers:

• Interplan Health Group
• Mulitplan
• Coventry Health Care

Aimee Wells Acupuncture is currently out of network for all insurance companies not listed above. When we are out of network for your insurance plan, payment is due at the time of service, and we bill the insurance company so that the portion covered by the insurance plan is sent to the patient for reimbursement. When companies do not cover acupuncture, many patients set up a health savings plan with their employer to set aside tax-free dollars for health services not covered by their traditional insurance.
